A political party leader has found himself between a rock and a hard place, thanks to his lukewarm reception of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).

The man is reportedly not ready to fully join the bandwagon because individuals spearheading the rallies have refused to recognise his party.

Yet, to be politically correct, the politician does not want to be seen as opposing the initiative.

He is aware that fighting the BBI is a sure way of consigning him to political oblivion.

His decision to fence-sit has raised eyebrows among BBI proponents.
