The presence of the BBI steering commitee in Gusii Stadium yesterday heightened speculations that the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report may be released today.

BBI vice-chairman Adams Oloo, Manson Leshomo, BBI joint Secretary Paul Mwangi were among attended the Mashujaa day celebrations at Gusii stadium.

Sources close to the events said President Uhuru Kenyatta and his ‘Handshake’ partner ODM leader Raila Odinga will be receiving the BBI report at the yet to be gazetted State lodge.

President Kenyatta and Raila are said to have “an important” event at 10 am before going to Nyamira to launch a road project.

Asked whether they had attended the event at Kisii to present the BBI report, Mwangi said his team is ready to present the report anytime and anywhere.

“We have done our part and are only waiting for the President to give us date be it today or any other day, we are ready,” he told People Daily.
