Kenya confirms 184 new COVID-19 cases

Kenya has confirmed additional 184 new cases of coronavirus after 2, 518 samples were tested in the past 24 hours, Health Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Rashid Aman announced on Wednesday.

The total number of cases now rises to 4, 044.

Of the cases, 183 are Kenyans and one is a foreigner.

One twenty nine are males and 55 are females.

Twenty seven more have been discharged, taking total number of recoveries to 1, 353.

"We have, however, lost two more patients. We now have 107 deaths as a result of the disease," Rashid said.

A total of 124, 474 people have been tested so far in the country.
