Kiunjuri fired as Uhuru reshuffles Cabinet

Agriculture Cabinet Secretary (CS) Mwangi Kiunjuri has been fired in the latest Cabinet reshuffle by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In the new changes, Trade CS Peter Munya has been moved to the Ministry of Agriculture.

Defence CS Rachel Omamo has also been moved to Foreign Affairs, Sicily Kariuki to Water docket and Monica Juma to be in charge of Defence.

Water CS Solomon Chelugui has been moved to take charge of the Labour docket while Sicily Kariuki, who has been Health CS, has been moved to take charge of Maji House.

Former Nyeri Senator has been nominated to the Ministry of Health.

Ukur Yattani has been confirmed as the substantive National Treasury Cabinet Secretary.
