Covid 19 patients in Busia county have been told to forget conjugal rights, miraa and alcohol consumption.

Busia County Coordinator Dr David Mukabi has told off patients being quarantined at the local Isolation Treatment Centers over their demands.

Dr Mukabi said the patients who are quarantined at Alupe and the Agricultural Training Centre (ATC) had gone to the extent of attempting to rape some female health workers attending to them.

“This is a treatment centre (hospital) where all patients must comply with laid down rules and laws,” said Dr Mukabi.

He said the hospital will not cede to their demands and has engaged counselors to advise the patients on the need to remain patient as they receive treatment.
