New CAS gets cold reception at ministry

A man who was recently appointed Chief Administrative Secretary is said to be having a rough time in the ministry he was posted to.
The man is said to have been received with a lot of resentment by the ministry’s staff, including the Cabinet Secretary and Principal Secretary because of his arrogance and know-it-all attitude.
To make it worse for the official, he appears to have started on the wrong footing by issuing sacking threats to senior officials, some of whom were his lecturers at the university.
