PlayaBet gaming firm to enter Kenyan market, lines up numerous options
GAMING: Gaming enthusiasts have a reason to smile after the entry of a new player known as PlayaBet.
The brand, operated by Newplaya Group Company with the website: www.playabet.co.ke, was launched last weekend and owners are confident of penetrating the Kenyan market steadily.
According to the firms head of communication Bernice Kariuki, the new kid on the block with a Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB) number 0000124, has other branches in South Africa and United Kingdom.
She said the firm has been active in Africa for a long time and now plans to leverage on that experience by dipping their toes into the Kenyan market.
She said the firm decided to invest in the country after seeing prospects in the Kenyan sports betting arena.
PlayaBet joins a field of more than 100 registered betting firms in the country.
“There are two things that I appreciate in a bookmaker, one being the coverage of sports and the other live betting module.
PlayaBet scores high marks in both categories and provides players with a real choice every time they go online on pre-match betting and live betting,” said Kariuki.
