Police in Kajiado are investigating the death of two German nationals who died in separate incidents on Tuesday.

In the first incident, 80-year-old Wilco Milicinovic was brutally murdered in his house at Esampukike sub-location in Kajiado West where he had been living with his daughter-in-law, who was living in a different homestead. His wife and son stayed abroad.

The security guard said he went to check on him and saw blood spots on the door and within the compound. He then alerted Milicinovic’s daughter-in-law.  Police reports indicate that the body of the deceased had deep head cuts and his hands and legs tied with a rope. His left eye was gouged out.

Kajiado Central Sub-County Commander Daudi Loronyokwe said they have launched investigations into the murder.

“The motive of the cruel murder is yet to be established. The scene was photographed and processed by Kajiado DCI detectives and samples taken for forensic analysis,” he said.  The lifeless body was lying in bed at his bedroom and police said the footprints in the house indicated that the heinous act could have been committed by more than two people.

Cruel murder

“The deceased is well-known by locals and his neighbours. Preliminary investigations point to a cruel murder. The widespread blood stains indicate a possible struggle from the sitting room to bedroom,” Lorokonywe said.

“The house had been ransacked and so far, we have only been able to know that the deceased laptop is missing,” he added.  By yesterday evening, a multi-agency team had visited the scene again and launched investigations into the incident to get to the root cause of the bizarre murder.

In another case, detectives are investigating the mysterious death of a 74-year-old German identified as Speer Ulrich Andreas in his house in Olosurutia, Kajiado North.
