IEBC publishes BBI signatures for public scrutiny

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has asked Kenyans to verify whether they were documented as supporters of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) Bill 2020 without their consent.

IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati, in an advertisement placed in the local dailies on Thursday, said that the electoral agency has made public a list of verified supporters on their website.

This was followed by a clean-up exercise by the commission to remove incomplete records, duplicates and those not in the register of voters.

“Further, the commission has uploaded a list of verified supporters in its website to enable them (voters) check and confirm their details,” said Chebukati.
