Embattled Narok Senator Ledama ole Kina has blamed ODM leader Raila Odinga for his removal from key committees of the House last week.

This was after he was discharged from the powerful Senate committee on County Public Accounts and Investment Committee (CPAIC) and the influential House Business Committee (HSC) by the Leader of Minority in the Senate Senator James Orengo.

Last week, Ole Kina won chairmanship of the CPAIC after beating Kisii Senator Sam Ongeri, who was ODM’s preferred candidate, after he allegedly got the support of members allied to Deputy President William Ruto in the committee.

The party was unhappy with his victory and wrote to Speaker recalling him from the committees.

ODM accused Ole Kina of defying an agreement to present Ongeri as the party’s candidate in the election to replace Homa Bay senator Moses Kajwang, also of ODM.

The Senator is now accusing Orange party boss of fighting him politically. More changes.

“I have a lot of respect for Raila Odinga, but it’s about time for me to say he is the one fighting me. James Orengo told me he is following instructions from the party leader that I should not be part of CPAIC,” Ole Kina said in an interview with a television station.

The lawmaker accused the former Prime Minister of fighting to those who had stood by him for long.

“I thought when we say we are bad boys forever, we dine together, we die together, that is what I thought ,” he said.

In a tweet yesterday, Ole Kina warned more changes in the leadership of Parliament were on the way.

“When the oligarchy is thinking of post elections coalitions to suit their commodity interest, we focus on building community interests! Kenyans wake up!” he wrote.

He added: “We have remained ignorant for way too long! It’s our time to change the future of this nation. No more betrayals My generation is one that you do well to leave alone! The truth is bound to show before too long!”

Ole Kina fight is the latest in a long list of politicians who defied orders from party leaders only to be crushed by their machinery.
