Raila, Karua meet legal team after hearing of petition
Azimio la Umoja - One Kenya coalition presidential flagbearer Raila Odinga met his legal team after the just concluded Presidential petition hearing.
Raila lauded his team for work well done during their submissions at the Supreme Court.
"Fantastic work. We thank our entire legal team. #TheDawnOfJustice," he wrote.

The Azimio chief also embraced and shared a light moment with lawyers from his legal team.

Raila unveils legal team
The team was unveiled ahead of the hearing which began on Tuesday, August 30, 2022.
At the time, the coalition through its spokesperson assured its supporters that the team will ensure that justice is served.
While christening the lineup as the best team of lawyers in Kenya, Mutua stated that the legal minds will be shepherded by Siaya Governor-Elect James Orengo, Nyamira Senator Okongo Omogeni, Senior Counsel Phillip Murgor and Senior Counsel Pheroze Nowrojee.
"The case management team is led by Paul Mwangi and is composed of Jackson Awele, Julie Soweto, Velma Maumo, Prof Ben Sihanya, Fred Orego, Dan Maanzo and Tom Macharia.
"Other lawyers on the team are Tony Moturi, Dr Judy Oloo, Celestine Opiyo, Arnold Oginga, Barbara Malowa, Addah Awiti, Justus Jura, Leonard Okanda, Plister Omondi, Winnie Makaba, Jerusah Michael, Deborass Bubi, George Ouma, Edward Ambala, Geoffrey Sore, Naila Salim, Tabitha Wathuti, John Njomo, Jacqueline Njoroge, Speranza Nywaira, Kinyua, Hannington Amol, Ndegwa Njiiru, Mathews Okoth, Kennedy Wanyanga, Kevin Katisya," the press statement read in part.
"The consultants on the petition legal team are Prof Makau Mutua, C.N Kihara, Dr Adams Oloo, and Caesar Vanjao," the statement read further.
