ODM Leader Raila Odinga is today expected to address his supporters in Jacaranda grounds, Nairobi county. The political gathering, dubbed the 'No Handshake' rally, will also be addressed by Raila's Azimio coalition partners.

Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Raila's running mate in the August polls Martha Karua, Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni, Roots Party leader George Wajackoyah and former CS Eugene Wamalwa are among the top brass of the opposition outfit expected to accompany Raila to the Jacaranda grounds.

The rally comes against the backdrop of a meeting at the Kamukunji grounds last week, where the opposition chief declared they do not recognize William Ruto as a validly elected President.

Raila maintained that the August 9th elections were rigged in favour of the UDA party leader.

"We do not recognize the Kenya Kwanza administration as a legitimate government and Ruto as the president or any official in his government," Raila said.

The former premier called on his supporters to reject the Kenya Kwanza administration and its promises.

He claimed that a whistleblower had unearthed how the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission(IEBC) stole his victory.

According to the whistleblower's account, Raila Odinga mustered 8.1M votes against President William Ruto's 5.9M votes.

"Since August 15, we have conducted our investigations and we are convinced we were robbed of our victory. Our opponents beat us only in some regions in the Rift Valley," he added.
