Deputy President William Ruto has asked Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga to stop calling hustlers' businesses taka taka.

Speaking when met business community from Nairobi at his Karen residence, Ruto said it was wrong for the ODM leader to demean the business of ordinary people.

"Because he is privileged to have been born in a family of a top leader, he now calls hustlers' businesses taka taka. He only believes in office jobs, not ordinary businesses," DP Ruto said.

The DP also took issue with the way government is treating him and his supporters.

"I have told them I am a man on a mission. I have no room to retreat and I don't have the luxury to surrender. We are matching forward," he reiterated.

He said he was on a mission to create an equitable society for all.

"We are matching forward until we achieve the society that is equitable and that everybody has a chance to be their best.
