School driver to be arraigned for defiling 14-year-old girl
A driver of a Kitengela-based private school will be arraigned at Kajiado Law Court today for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl.
The 39-year-old Bernard Otieno is said to have lured the minor to his house where she spent the whole day returning home at 8pm. The Grade Eight pupil from Busia county was visiting her elder sister for the April holidays.
She narrated what transpired leading her to Otieno house which is within the neighbourhood.
“Since I came, I usually communicate with ‘Otis’ because we speak in our Luyha dialect. He usually passes by where we are playing and when he invited me for lunch, I was happy and went to his house. He told me he was deeply in love with me and wants to marry me after I finish Grade Eight,”narrated the minor.
Her cousin says the matter was reported at Kitengela Police Station and the minor taken to Nairobi Women Hospital for examination where it was proved she was actually defiled.
