Mombasa-based artiste Grace Msafari aka Sai Kenya is glad to have release two music chart-topping videos in four months.

The singer, signed under Shirko Media, started her musical journey just five months ago when she started doing covers of bongo artistes such as Harmonize, Zuchu and Mario, all of which won her a huge following before she released her first single Pambana in July.

She released her second single Unaboa last week. “I try to pass a certain message through my music by tackling what goes on in our daily lives; whether it’s about love, hatred or hustling.

I am very grateful for the great reception from my fans and the support from artistes such as Mario, Benpol, Zuchu, Masauti, Hamisa and Rayvanny,” she tells Spice.

Sai is a granddaughter of legendary Kenyan musician, the late Abel Kifoto, a pioneer member of the Maroon Commandos.
