Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria ejected out of Kitui BBI meeting

Police attempted to forcefully eject Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) Moses Kuria out of the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) meeting in Kitui on Saturday. Other Tangatanga allies also met a similar treatment.

Kuria's dramatic entry at Kitui Stadium also saw him sitting on the bare ground after Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu objected his reception at the main dais.

Ngilu ordered Kuria to be thrown out of the meeting.

"Atolewe, atolewe(remove him, remove him)," said Ngilu

Charged crowd shouted Waende kwao waende kwao (they should go to where they belong), before Orange Democratic Party(ODM) leader Raila Odinga intervened for Kuria to be allowed into the dais.

Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen and Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa also met a hostile reception at the event.

Murkomen and Ichungwa were shielded from embarrassment by Tangatanga allies from Ukambani.

The three (Murkomen, Kuria and Ichungwa) arrived when themeeting had already started causing commotion.
