TIFA Poll: Raila beats Ruto in Isiolo county

Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance coalition party presidential candidate Raila Odinga is the most popular presidential candidate with a lead of eight per cent against his main competitor William Ruto of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

This is according to the latest TIFA poll which places Raila at 50 per cent in terms of popularity, while Ruto comes a distant second at 42 per cent.

Roots Party Presidential candidate George Wajackoyah has a three per cent popularity while two per cent support none of the candidates. Three per cent are still undecided.

Raila's Azimio leading

Azimio La Umoja is the most popular political outfit at 39 per cent closely followed by Kenya Kwanza at 35 per cent. 17 per cent are still undecided on the political outfit of choice while seven per cent do not support any.

Ruto's UDA is the most popular party at 32 per cent in the county followed by the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) at 27 per cent. The ruling Jubilee party is still strong at 27 per cent while Roots Party comes fourth at one per cent. 13 per cent do not support any of the political parties while three per cent are undecided.

In the gubernatorial race,

Godana Doyo (an independent candidate) is the most popular gubernatorial candidate in Isiolo County at 45 per cent followed by Abdi Guyo (from Jubilee) at 34 per cent. Halakhe Dida Waqo has four per cent popularity while Hussein Tene Dabasso has two per cent.

Fatuma Adana is the most popular senator candidate in Isiolo County at 47 per cent while Nuh Mohamed
Ibrahim comes second at 26 per cent.

Rehema Dida is the most popular Women Representative candidate in Isiolo county at 36 per cent followed by Mumina Golo at 29 per cent.
