Roots Party Leader George Wajackoyah has vowed to deal with President William Ruto's allies who have been continuously attacking ODM Leader Raila Odinga.

Wajackoyah  said that Raila has sacrificed a lot for democracy and good governance in the country and therefore it is disrespectful for people who have never taken part in the struggle for democracy to insult him.

He added that  he  is a lieutenant and foot soldier  of Raila and is ready to battle anybody who disparages or vilify  him.

“I will not tire to fight and defend Raila for  he is the reason why am a live today. Even if I contested for Presidency, he (Raila) never talked ills about me for he knows the political antics that we were playing,” Wajackoyah said.

The acclaimed lawyer further asked President William Ruto to reign on his DP Rigathi Gachagua whose actions he claims would bring down the Kenya Kwanza administration.

"I urge all members of Parliament to be aware of Gachagua. He is failing President William Ruto and the words of his mouth might bring this country down."

"The DP is bringing in  tribalism and Kikuyu politics in Nairobi County. Let him shut up or else will make him do so. We respect Ruto but we wont allow his DP to continue attacking Raila for he is not his agemate."

"Kenya is very good place, politics is very temporary. Where is COTU secretary-General Francis Atwoli today? Open your mouth today, tomorrow you will be crying in vain. People must tame their mouths in this Country," Wajackoyah said adding that he was was contesting for presidency to preserve the interests of Kenyans.

“Don’t look me as a fool. I and Raila had a plan that’s why I ran for presidency and went round the country campaigning for the top seat," he added.

Speaking at the home of Siaya Governor James Orengo in Ugenya sub-County, Wajackoyah recounted ordeals he encountered during Moi's era and lauded efforts made by Raila and Orengo to save his life.

“I was blind folded and detained at city mortuary by Moi handlers, and it’s by the  the efforts of Orengo and the farther of Raila, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga that snicked me out of the morgue and left the Country through a cargo plane at Embakasi air port,” he said.
