Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and former and Nyandarua Governor Francis Kimemia have called out the National Police Service over alleged police harassment.

Klanzo and Kimemia spoke on Sunday, June 7 after they were stopped by police officers from attending a fundraiser at Kinangop.

The two leaders accused the police of targeting political parties in the guise of enforcing Covid-19 regulations.

“We are not happy for what has been done to us today and particular being people who are assisting this government,” governor Kimemia said.

The motorcade of the two political leaders was stopped and denied entry to Rwanyambo Secondary School where the fundraiser was to take place.

“There is someone and I don’t who that person is who heard that Kalonzo is visiting Nyandarua and got scared. But we will pray for that person,” Kalonzo said.

Water CS Sicily Kariuki was also expected at the fundraiser.
