Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has broken his silence after President Uhuru Kenyatta allegedly promised to support one of NASA's principals in the 2022 presidential polls.

In a video posted on his Facebook page on Tuesday June 15, Kuria referred to a meeting the president had with Kamba leaders at Statehouse in Nairobi on Monday 14, and another meeting before Madaraka Day, when Uhuru hosted leaders from Nyanza at Statehouse in Nairobi.

From the meeting with Kamba leaders, it was alleged that the president hinted at supporting one of the NASA leaders in the 2022 presidential race.

"I would like to tell Mt Kenya residents that you are on your own. Rais wetu amechukuliwa. Rais wetu ametekwa nyara,"

"Rais wetu amevamiwa na magaidi. Rais wetu ametuacha. Hatuna baba, hatuna mama. We are orphans. We are on our own. Tuanze kujipanga sasa," Kuria said.

The lawmaker also made reference to a point in 2007 when the President, then the official head of opposition crossed over to the government while supporting former President Mwai Kibaki for the country's top seat.

"He has now moved from government to opposition. I wonder who the President has left in charge of the government," he paused.

"When you shook hands with Raila Odinga, Raila told his MPs in Parliament the intention of the handshake."

"Those of us in Jubilee have never been told the meaning of the handshake and what we need to know about BBI but the president is busy meeting leaders from other regions," the Gatundu MP said.
