The President of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Nelson Havi has fired a warning shot at the ODM leader Raila Odinga over his remarks that the Building Bridge Initiative (BBI) reggae will be back soon.

Havi’s remarks came hours after the conclusion of the hearing of the BBI case at the Court of the Appeal.

According to the LSK boss, the ODM leader should not stop lying to himself and his supporters that the BBI reggae will be back soon.

Like his many other political mantras, Havi says, Raila’s BBI reggae is on its deathbed and chances of it being resuscitated remain not likely at all.

“There was Tsunami. Then came Canaan. Then came Reggae. Someone should advise Mzee Raila Odinga to stop lying to himself and many other gullible Kenyans following him blindly. He will end up miserably like Jonas Savimbi who failed to understand that his struggle was over,” Havi said.

Havi was reacting to remarks by the ODM leader while in Nyeri where he exuded confidence in their appeal case.

Raila said he is optimistic that their appeal case will go through and therefore the BBI reggae will bounce back to life.

The appeal case came after a five-judge High Court bench declared the BBI referendum process unconstitutional, null and void.

It also issued a permanent injunction to the IEBC against proceeding with any preparation with regards to the BBI referendum.

The decision halted the BBI referendum progress which was expected to be held by August this year.

The ruling on the BBI appeal will be made on August 20.
