All is set for 68th edition of Coronation Cup in Nakuru

A large field of top players will be in action at the 68th Coronation Cup this weekend at the par 73 Nakuru Golf Club. The field of 95 players comprises of national team players like Mike Karanga, Dennis Maara, John Lejirma and junior golfer Elvis Muigua who are destined for Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for the Annual Region IV Golf Championship from June 5 to 11.

The team will not only take on the Prestigious Nakuru golf course as the last practice session for the big task in Ethiopia, but would also be battling out for the most coveted Coronation Trophy and a cash prize sponsored by NCBA Bank, Eabl, and Moi University.

Three ladies Esther Karuga, Sylvia Tanui and Junior lady golfer Channelle Wangari have also signed up for the event that kicks off tomorrow morning.

Other notable contestants are Senior Nakuru Club Captain Luther Kamau, Steve Kiaro, Carl Wambasi and Ebill Omollo.
