Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Kakamega Homeboyz chairman Cleophas Shimanyula has called on the sacking or resignation of Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed, for failing to crack the whip on Football Kenya Federation (FKF) officials over claims of misappropriation of public funds during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Cairo, Egypt.

The federation bosses have been quizzed severally by investigators over the Sh 244m that was awarded to the team for preparation and taking part in the continental showpiece, but no action has been taken one year since Harambee Stars featured in the competition.

“Sports CS Amina should resign or be sacked for failing to crack the whip on these officials, especially after the their audited accounts proved to be too glaring.

Delayed justice is like justice denied, it doesn't need a rocket scientist to see that FKF audits are not adding up,” Shimanyula said.
