Bullish Muhati elated after being named in KCB’s Safari Sevens team
Fast rising youngster Bob Muhati is elated after being named in the KCB team that will take part in this year’s Safari Sevens, which kicks off at the Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday 30 October 2021.
Muhati further expressed his desire of becoming a regular in the banker’s squad in his quest to earn a maiden call-up to the national team, popularly known as Shujaa.
“It is a privilege to have been called up, it has not been easy; blood, sweat and hard work has been my drive, and now I need to work hard and show that I merit being there as I seek to earn a call-up to the national team in the near future,” Muhati said.
KCB are pooled alongside Spain, defending champions Moran's and Uganda in Pool C and Muhati is optimistic the Dennis Mwanja coached side shall triumph as the eventual winners of this year’s edition.
The burly Muhati who recently signed with the Kenya Cup champions has been in sensational form while turning out for Homebozy RFC, going on to score memorable tries for the deejays.
Muhati is hopeful he will replicate his fine form while donning the new colours, and he can’t wait to showcase his talent with his new paymasters will
“To be named in the final list shows you how God is repaying my hard work, I hope I can replicate my form with KCB and if I dedicate more time to what I love doing then nothing can stop me from achieving that goal,’’ a bullish Muhati said.
