CAF African Schools Football Zonal qualifiers fixtures released
The schedule for the 2023 CAF African Schools Football Zonal qualifiers for the CECAFA Region has been unveiled ahead of the boys' and girls' competitions at Kasarani.
Kenya will commence their campaign against Tanzania at Kasarani Annex this Monday, while Uganda will take on Somalia in the second match of the day. The third match will feature Rwanda against Burundi.

Additional matches scheduled for Monday include Kenya facing Somalia, Burundi challenging Uganda, and Tanzania squaring off against Rwanda in the day's final match. 
Tuesday will witness six matches, including encounters between Kenya and Rwanda, as well as Uganda's matches.
The final day, Wednesday will feature three matches, with the top two teams advancing to the ultimate showdown.
Yussuf Mossi, the Director of CECAFA Competitions, shared that the qualifiers will adopt a league format, providing increased playing opportunities for the participating teams.
Following the league phase, the top two teams in each category will progress to the finals. Mossi clarified that this decision is aimed at ensuring that the participating teams can partake in a higher number of matches.
The matches will be played for 50 minutes with halves of 25 minutes each.
