Former Kenya Football Federation (KFF) now Football Kenya Federation (FKF), vice chairman, Twaha Mbarak has told current Federation boss to stop bragging that ‘no one would beat him in a football election even if the polls were repeated 100 times.’

Mbarak was reacting to the sentiments made by Mwendwa in a local radio station at the weekend and challenged him to make the process free and fair to accertain his claims.

“Even president Uhuru Kenyatta cannot subject his opponents to take their normination papers to State House which he occupies, what Mwendwa is currently doing,” Mbarak told People Sport.

He added: “It’s self explanatory why many positions have gone unopposed, no one is ready to go to a heavily guarded facility ran by Mwendwa employees to issue nomination papers.

Let him take the Electoral Board offices to a neutral place and make eligibility open, then we see how popular he is on the ballot box.”
