Harambee Stars trio Ouma, Shichenje, Meja in AIK squad for Norwegian friendly
Harambee Stars trio Eric Ouma, Collins Shichenje and Henry Meja Atola have been included in the AIK Fotboll's 43-man squad that will play Norwegian side Molde in a mid-season friendly match scheduled for Aker Stadium in Molde on Saturday.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 1:00 pm East-African Time and head coach Bartosz Grzelak will be using the match to prepare for the league resumption scheduled for 26 June 2022.
Ouma will be hoping to retain the fullback slot, having made 15 appearances in all competitions for the side in 2022. He has made 11 appearances in the league campaign, totalling 920 minutes and has scored one goal.

Meja and Shichenje on their part will be eyeing playtime in the match having been sparingly utilized by Grzelak. Meja has made just one appearance on the substitute's bench and he is yet to make his debut in the Allsvenskan. He has, however, featured in the Cup competition- Svenska Cupen.
He has made three cup appearances and has one goal in the three matches. The goal came against second division side Eskilsminne when came off the bench in the 72nd minute and scored in the 87th for a 4-0 win for his side.
Shichenje, who was unveiled on 19 May 2022 on a four-year deal after completing a move from FKF Premier League side AFC Leopards, is yet to make an appearance for the side. The utility player who can play in midfield will be hoping to make his first appearance for his new side as they play in Norway.
AIK are second in the Swedish top-flight- Allsvenskan having amassed 23 points in the opening 11 matches played this season. They have seven wins, two draws, and two defeats. They resume their league action with a match against Degerfors.
Their today's opponent Molde have Europa League experience and are using the match to prepare for their domestic cup competition and league action.
They will face ninth-placed Odd in a league match on 19 June 2022 before tackling Brattvag in the Cup competition on 22 June 2022.
Molde are second in the Norwegian top-flight - Eliteserien log with 22 points after 10 matches. They have also won seven, drawn once, and lost twice.
