Odada: In-form Harambee Stars midfielder scores in AaB vital victory

Harambee Stars midfielder Richard Odada was yet again on target when he scored for his Danish side AaB in a 3-1 victory over Vendsyssel on Friday night.
Although it was Odada and his teammates who came out as winners, it was their opponents who took the lead in the ninth minute when Carl Lange scored from an assist created by Oscar Buch.
AaB fought back and equalised before the first half ended when Oliver Ross, with an assist from Melker Widell, scored.
The Harambee Star scored in the 56th minute to stretch their lead to 2-1. Odada, who has been a key first-teamer, scored from an assist provided by Lucas Andersen.
AaB were not done yet and scored the third one in the 71st minute through Emmanuel Toku. AaB won a penalty after a handball by Ayoo Okosun, and Toku successfully made the conversion to dim Vendsyssel's chance of a comeback.

Odada's side is now at the top of the table with 27 points from the 11 games they have played so far. They face AC Horsens on Friday with the hope of winning and extending their fine form.
Meanwhile, the goal against Vendsyssel was Odada's third for the Danish club.
His fine form should be welcome news for head coach Engin Firat, who has shown trust in the midfielder. He is expected to keep his place when the Harambee Stars next play Russia in another international friendly.
