Jack Grealish nearly fell off City's open-top bus TWICE as they paraded around Manchester to celebrate their fourth successive Premier League title. Grealish, 28, was lapping up the celebrations and champagne a little over 24 hours after City were beaten 2-1 in the FA Cup final by bitter rivals Manchester United.

The England international had two hairy moments; the first being when he was stood dancing on the seats at back of the bus, assuming that it was at a standstill. He had a shock when the driver put his foot down to set off, forcing team-mate Jeremy Doku to grab Grealish's legs and help pull him down.

The next incident came later in the team's parade in the city centre, as the cap-wearing City attacker stood in the same place alongside team-mates Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake, who both grabbed Grealish when the bus started moving once again to prevent him from falling.

The players didn't let the rain or Saturday's defeat dampen their spirits, as they revelled in the fact that City are the only team in English football history to win four top-flight titles in a row. Grealish, who's no longer a regular in City's XI and was an unused substitute against United, even grabbed a TV camera at one point, holding it while dancing.

Supporters lined the streets as City departed from Cathedral Gardens by the National Football Museum, going through Exchange Square and down Deansgate before finishing the parade outside the Hilton hotel. Some fans were so desperate to interact with the players that they climbed on scaffolding.

Boss Pep Guardiola smoked a cigar as he celebrated with his staff hours before it emerged that the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager plans to leave City next summer when his contract expires. "We are happy, it's a big achievement, that's why we are here again," Guardiola told supporters.

"Even myself I couldn't expect to stay here eight years but everything goes well. Step by step we are here and it looks like a routine [having a bus parade at the end of a season] but it's not a routine. He then vowed: "We will be back next season. The FA Cup, we will take it."

Phil Foden, City's player of the year, added: "It's been a special season. Nobody has done it before. It's an unbelievable season. It's the hunger inside me. We've got great players, we want to win more next season."
