Kariobangi Sharks dominate FKF PL Team of the Week

Kariobangi Sharks trio have earned their places in the FKF Premier League Team of the Week after the conclusion of round 27 matches.

Their outstanding performance was showcased as Sharks defeated Nzoia Sugar 3-0 on Saturday, propelling them to 12th place on the Premier League table.

Geoffrey Onyango, Stanley Wilson, and Fortune Omotto were pivotal in this victory, each contributing a goal.

Nairobi City Stars also made a mark with three players making the team: goalkeeper Edwin Mukolwe, who secured a clean sheet, and scorers Elvis Noor and Dennis Oala.

Samuel Ndung'u of Bidco United, Brian Odera of Bandari FC, Daniel Sakari of Tusker, and Tito Okello of Kenya Police also received recognition for their exceptional performances.

Gor Mahia's Joshua Onyango was another standout inclusion after Gor Mahia's 1-0 victory over AFC Leopards in the Mashemeji Derby.

Despite being reduced to 10 men following a red card for goalkeeper Kevin Omondi in the 35th minute, Gor Mahia secured all three points thanks to Austin Odhiambo's goal in the 30th minute.

Elsewhere, Tusker FC secured a narrow 1-0 win over Ulinzi Stars, while Kenya Police triumphed 2-1 against Sofapaka. Bidco United and Kariobangi Sharks also emerged victorious in their respective fixtures against Posta Rangers and Nzoia Sugar.

With this win, Gor Mahia maintains their top spot in the standings with 57 points, followed closely by Kenya Police and Tusker at 48 and 46 points, respectively.
