Harambee Stars striker Michael Olunga, making his second consecutive start of the year in the Qatar Stars League, scored in their 4-1 defeat to Al-Gharafa at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium on Friday.

This marks Olunga's second appearance since December, when he suffered a hamstring injury during an Asian Champions League match against Persepolis. This was his first goal since returning from injury.

After recovering from his injury in late January, the striker resumed training.

The defeat in the 15th round of the Stars Expo League leaves Olunga's team frozen at 18 points.

In the match's first half, both teams displayed strong intensity, with Al Duhail dominating possession.

Al-Gharafa seized the opportunity to score first, with Yassine Brahimi converting a penalty in the 15th minute.
