The FKF Betway Cup Round of 64 went according to script at weekend as all Betking Premier League clubs advanced.

Tusker, however, will take the bragging rights as the biggest winners after steamrolling nondescript Mihuu United 9-0 in a one-sided match at Sudi Stadium in Bungoma.

Micheal Madoya was the destroyer-in-chief o when he struck a hat-trick for Tusker as Luke Namanda helped himself to a superb brace to push the Brewers to the round of 32.

The rest of Tusker’s goals were netted by Charles Ashitiva, George “Blackberry” Odhiambo and Apollo Otieno with the last strike coming via an own goal.

Like Tusker, Ulinzi Stars had a goal fest as they crashed Elim FC 5-0 at Kenyatta Stadium in Kitale.

In Kitui, the experience of Nairobi City Stars prevailed when they beat Mutomo Tigers 4-1 with Gambia’s Ebrimmah Sanneh scoring a double as David Agesa and Wycliff Otieno netted a piece each.

AFC Leopards were not to be left behind as they pulled off the highest winning margin amongst the big teams by walloping Tiki 6-0 in Wundanyi.

In contrast, Bandari, Bidco and Sofapaka were forced to struggle before making it to the next stage.

At Sebastian Park in Murang’a, Bandari received a scare from Murang’a Seal after winning 4-3 in penalties after both teams were deadlocked 2-2 in normal time.

Elsewhere at Mumboha grounds in Vihiga, Nation FC, inspired by veteran journalists Elias Makori and John Ashihundu, cruised to the round of 32 after stunning hosts Vihiga Sportiff 2-1.
