NSL enters matchday two with mouthwatering games lined up

The National Super League (NSL) enters matchday two with mouthwatering matches lined up at various venues in the country on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
At Green Stadium in Bomet, Silibwet Leons will play host to Kibera Black Stars, and both sides will be looking for their first victories in the new campaign.
Morale booster
A win will not only be a morale booster for Leons but also bring an end to a run of poor results that stretches to the last season.
In the opening game, Leons shared points with Kisumu All-Stars after a 0-0 draw, while Kibera Black Stars were defeated 2-0 by Nairobi United.
Meanwhile, Mombasa Elites will host Gusii FC at Mbaraki Stadium in another match in the NSL. The hosts were beaten 5-0 by Luanda Villa in their opening match, and a win will serve as a proper bounceback from the huge setback.

On the other hand, Gusii are looking for their back-to-back wins after a victory over Vihiga Bullets in their opener.
Elsewhere, Darajani Gogo will face Mombasa Stars at Hope Center in Kawangware. Gogo were defeated by NSL debutants Rainbow FC in their opening game, and hopes for a victory against Stars, who operated as Coastal Heroes last season.
Rainbow FC will be in action against SS Asad in Ukunda, while Kajiado FC will host Mully Children Family FC.
