Posta Rangers want to make an impressionable impact this season as the 2020/21 Kenya Premier League resumes in eight days time.

The mailmen under veteran tactician Sammy  “Pamzo” Omollo finished eighth during the last campaign despite financial challenges and the club’s management has given an assurance that things will improve for the better in the coming campaign.

Posta Rangers signed only six players to strengthen their squad with the club management not keen to do massive changes unlike other teams in the league.

They also let go five players who were considered surplus to requirements.

The new signings are largely from the second tier Betika Super League sides while only two came from Premiership sides.

Not considered big names in stature, the club opted for what were otherwise fringe players from other sides.

Dennis Oalo who had limited playing time at Gor Mahia was brought into sharpen the attack having hit the headlines two seasons ago against his new employers in the Premiership Playoffs while with Nairobi Stima.

Another off-season signing was Emmanuel Pal of Sofapaka while Eliud Lokuwam made his previous loan deal from Gor Mahia permanent with the Mailmen.

Other players coming in included Elijah Mwanzia from Mount Kenya United, Kevin Opiyo from APS Bomet and Timothy Omondi from the now defunct Chemelil Sugar FC.On the other hand senior players like the experienced Humphrey Okoti, midfielders Brian Osumba and Danson Kago alongside Marcellus Ingotsi and Gradus Ochieng bade goodbye to the club.

According to Omollo, there is belief in the club and it is all about improving.
