Defending champions KCB will be at the RFUEA Grounds in search for a second straight Kenya Cup win while at the Railways Club, Stanbic Mwamba hope to disappoint visiting Kabras.

At RFUEA, hosts Harlequins will be hoping to capture their first seasonal win against the bankers who have made eight changes as the hosts head coach Dominique Habimana has brought in former Shujaa captain Eden Agero to start at fly half in an attempt to fix their finishing that saw Quins backline break and penetrate Homeboyz defence repeatedly but failed to score to lose 13-26 to the Deejay who tour wounded Nakuru.

As KCB will be hunting a second in a row, Kabras will be hoping to maintain their rampage-scoring spree that saw them open with an alarming 89-0 win over Kisumu last weekend.

In the bankers line-up, eight changes have been effected by head coach Curtis Olago in his rotation programme that will see four Kenya Cup players feature in the second tier league - Eric Shirley Shield while three players will come in from the bench while one will be on rest.

George Asin, Steve Wamae and Elphas Adunga will today come in from the bench while Felix Wanjala, Stephen Osumba, George Maranga and Darwin Mukidza will play Harlequins II in the ESS league as Collins Wanjala takes rest.

Harlequins new boss Dominique Habimana has brought in Eden Agero to pair with scrum half Nick Ndegwa. Harlequins will hope their backline will today complement their forwards with points after a disappointing opener.

Patrice Agunda and David Ambunya will partner at the midfield while Jacob Okumba, Pius Shiundu and Lyle Asiligwa complete the backline. Last season semi-finalists 23-11 win by Kabras over Mwamba will have the sugar millers as the favourites on away grounds. After a 34-27 win over Blak Blad ‘Kulabu’ head coach Kevin Wambua will be hungry for another win with a solid backline in a home clash that will see one side register first loss or go for a rare Kenya cup stalemate to share spoils. Eighthman Tony Owuor will skipper the Black Shirts that will be propelled by hard running backline made up of co-captain Michael Agevi, Joel Inzuga, Jeremy Chimwani and Brian Kivasia in their hunt for a win over Kabras lastly tasted in 2017 while Kabras remain unchanged for their second duel.

After a good opener shoving Nakuru 31-5, Menengai Oilers boosted by two changes will today at the Bull Ring, Kakamega hope to extend their streak to two wins against hosts who lost 43-11 to KCB in an away clash. Nakuru will be at home expecting another storm aginst Homeboyz after the Club’s poor opener that saw Mwangi Mucemi resign as the chairman a day after their first recorded loss to Oilers while Impala Saracens and Kisumu will host Blak Blad and Nondescripts respectively.
