A total of six fixtures are set to be played this weekend on day two of the Kenya Cup tournament.

All the fixtures will be hosted in different venues across the country with defending champions Kabras Sugar tackling varsity side University of Nairobi Mean Machine.

Nakuru-based Menengai Oilers will be at the RFUEA grounds where they will be eager to disappoint hosts Kenya Harlequins coached by former Kenya international Paul Murunga.

A varsity derby pitting Kenyatta University Blak Blad and Catholic Monks is also on the cards in a clash hosted at the Kenyatta University grounds.

Nakuru RFC host Mwamba RFC at the Nakuru Athletic club with both teams looking for a much-needed win. Both teams have not won any fixture this season.

KCB RFC coached by Curtis Olago has a date with fast-rising Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST).

Homeboyz has appointed Oscar Okaron as head coach for the 2022-2023 Kenya Cup season.

Meanwhile, the venue for the fixture pitting Homeboyz RFC against Strathmore Leos had not been communicated by the time of going to the press.

The former Kabras and Western Bulls player is hopeful his side will redeem itself this season after an underwhelming campaign last season which rocked the team forcing its key players to seek alternatives with other teams in the local circuit.

Okaron takes over from Kenya Sevens international Oscar Ayodi who led the side to a fourth-place finish at the national Sevens circuit in July.

The Deejays face Strathmore Leos, former champions KCB and last season’s losing finalist Menengai Oilers before the league takes a break next month.
