Arati names Azimio campaign team for Kisii
Kisii ODM governorship candidate Simba Arati has unveiled the region’s Azimio board to coordinate campaigns for presidential candidate Raila Odinga. Launching the board, Arati said its members are drawn from 16 political parties.
The team will be chaired by county ODM chairman Kerosi Ondieki and coordinated by Moses Nyakeramba.
“We do not want self-appointed individuals to create confusion ahead of the planned visit by Raila to Kisii County next week,” said Arati at a Kisii hotel.
Raila is expected to attend the funeral of Kitutu Chache North constituency ODM candidate Geoffrey Asanyo’s mother on Monday.
Arati was accompanied by his running mate and several members of the Azimio poll board.
“We do not want to be divided as an Azimio family. If you have your group and you agree to work under the board, we will accept you,” said Arati.
