Tana River senator Golich Juma, Galole MP Hiribae Buya decamp to Raila’s ODM party
ODM party leader Raila Odinga has on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, welcomed Tana River Senator Golich Juma Wario to the Orange party. The legislator crossed over from the ruling Jubilee party, which is currently hinged with Raila's outfit in the Azimio-One Kenya coalition party.
Raila also received Galole MP Hiribae Buya.The lawmaker ditched Wetangula's Ford-Kenya party, which has since joined forces with the opposition chief's political nemesis Deputy President William Ruto.
"ODM leader Raila Odinga today in Nairobi received Tana River Senator Golich Juma Wario from Jubilee & Galole MP Hiribae Buya from Ford Kenya among others drawn from different political parties. They were accompanied by Governor Dhadho Godhana and ODM Sec-Gen Edwin Sifuna," a statement by the party read.
