What three things don’t people know about you?

I come from a polygamous family. My father married more than five wives. I am a good swimmer and play both table, lawn tennis and darts. 

What is your biggest addiction?

Golf is my biggest addiction. I have played the sport many times in the country and also in Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda.

What is the best place you have ever visited?

Copacabana neighbourhood in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Specifically, Copacabana Beach. It is four kilometers long and is one of the most famous in the world.

What do you like about your career?

I love travelling a lot. Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda is my favourite destination. I love meeting new people and establishing contacts.

Since you started your career, you have done many interviews. What two interviews are memorable?

I once interviewed hard-hitting boxer, Fatuma Zarika. She was very inspirational.  In 2017, I sat with Lothar Herbert Matthaus, a German football manager and former player.

He was named European Footballer of the Year after captaining West Germany to victory in the 1990 FIFA World Cup. He is very friendly and humble.

Name one of the happiest moments in your life?

In 2016, I was announced Brand Ambassador for Betin Kenya.

 What was the lowest moment in your life?

Losing my mother, a former teacher in 1997. I was in Class Eight when she died. 

Future plans?

I want to become a politician.
