Kenyan dancehall artiste Shanky Radics has urged celebrities, entertainers and public figures participate and work with him on a series of countrywide peace tours and mega music concert with an aim of promoting peace in the upcoming general elections.

Known for the hit song Bambika, he told Spice he believes all can be achieved through a well-planned musical concert that could make an impact in the country and attract and inspire masses.

“Youth have their own universal language, culture and ways of understanding and being a role model from the community.

I urge our brothers and sisters not to be incited by greedy leaders to cause chaos around the country.

Music and art are the only things that have no boundaries on tribes, religions, genders, ages, culture, political inclinations, and professions, among others,” he says.

Shanky has also released a peace song dubbed Hatutaki Siasa Za Chuki na Ukabila, a rallying call for the youth to shun tribalism and hatred during the election period, and advocates for peace, love and unity in the country.
