Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo has condemned men planning to heckle Azimio la Umoja - One Kenya coalition Deputy President hopeful and Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua at Kiambaa in Kiambu County saying the act is not only shameful but also a traditional political strategy that yields zero fruits.

Kabogo, in a video he has posted on his Facebook account, unearthed that a group of men wearing his Tujibebe Wakenya party t-shirts have been organized to shout down Karua who is on her tour in Kiambu County days after she was picked to deputize Raila Odinga in the August polls.

But Kabogo dismissed the scheme as one organized by his political enemies to depict his party as violent.

“Those trying to portray Tujibebe as a violent party by making t-shirts and heckling Martha Karua, shame on you. That is being primitive and an ancient way of doing politics, stop the nonsense,” he posted.

Karua is touring various parts of Kiambu County to not only popularize Azimio la Umoja coalition but also inform rebellious voters what the coalition stands for and how it will impact their lives should they manage to take over after President Uhuru Kenyatta exits stage come August.

Among other areas, Karua is set to tour Kiambaa after a successful tour in Limuru, Kiambu town, Gatundu South, Thika, Juja and Githurai areas.
