The initial outcome of the United States of America presidential election and the ongoing counting of votes have excited many Kenyans as others follow in disbelief.

In the hotly contested election, Democrat candidate Joe Biden has so far led with a clear margin against the incumbent and Republican Donald Trump.

With Kenyan citizens' 'experience in disputed elections', some have advised the Americans on what to do if Trump does not accept the outcome.

On one of Trumps Facebook posts, a Kenyan Steve Waiganjo 'advised' Americans to embrace dialogue, and added that Kenya would assist the US to ensure a free and fair election.

The comment made on Wednesday had recorded a whooping 1500 replies and over 3000 likes in 24 hours, some of them by Americans oblivious of the satire.

We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the Election. We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Polls are closed!

Another Facebook user, Moses Gathitu, said it would not be a pleasant thing for an incumbent US President to lose the seat.

On Twitter, a user @Gathiru said the United States is a democracy benchmark for all countries and the world is watching to see what will happen in case of a disputed poll outcome.

Another user said chances of a disputed poll in America are very slim as Joe Biden would win still win even if the courts order a vote recount.

Vox News on Tuesday reported that First-time gun holders were storming the stores to buy firearms in fear of civil unrest and some foreseeing more restrictions on gun ownership if a Democrat wins the election.

Kenya and other African countries have witnessed disputed elections many times with some turning into severe protests.
