Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has spoken of his political ambitions after the 2022 general elections.

During a televised interview on Sunday, November 7, Kuria who had earlier said he will not vie for any elective post reiterated his stand stating that he intends to grow his party.

The Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) leader further said that he intends to have at least 10 governors in his political vehicle after the 2022 elections.

“Right now I’m very busy putting up a machinery that is going to win a lot of parliamentary seats… ensuring that a lot of MCA are elected on Chama cha Kazi, especially young people, and women…”

Kuria also said that he has always been willing to work with Deputy President William Ruto though he is not ready to fold his party.

“It was my desire that I continue working with William Ruto and I hope that opportunity will present itself at some point, but for the time being, William Ruto has said that if you want to work with him you have to join UDA,” Kuria said.

The Gatundu South legislator further claimed that he was the chief data analyst in the last four General Elections; having begun with Mwai Kibaki in 2007.

“Right now I am just a public commentator when it comes to presidential elections. My preference is to work with the deputy president because he’s my friend, we have worked together, we have suffered together,” he said.
