Police in Bondo sub-county have launched investigations into the death of a young man whose body was found hanging in his house in Bondo town after he is suspected to have committed suicide.

The body of Taleb Robin Oduor (19) was found hanging with a rope round his neck by his younger sibling.

His mother Alice Opondo said Odour was last seen Thursday evening when he came home and headed straight to his house without talking to anybody only for his body to be found hanging from the roof of his bedroom by the sibling who had gone to call him for a meal.

Alice stated that as far as they are concerned, Robin had no problem with anybody in the family and wondered why he decided to take his life.

She however disclosed that the deceased has been abusing narcotic drugs since he dropped out of school some years back due to indiscipline.

Nyawita sub-location Assistant chief Ayub Ogola confirmed the incident, noting that the body has since been removed to Bondo sub-county hospital mortuary to await postmortem as investigations begin to establish the real motive behind the incident. -
