KANU party leader Gideon Moi has reiterated his commitment to the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) as the outfit seeks to strengthen itself ahead of the 2022 General Elections.

This is after he attended the OKA meeting that all key principals namely the Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetangula and their ANC counterpart Musalia Mudavadi were present.

His visit comes in the back of media reports indicating that he is planning to work with the ODM leader Raila Odinga in the 2022 polls.

The ODM leader is yet to declare whether he will be shooting his fifth stab at the presidency in the next polls.

In a message shared on his social media handles, Senator Moi expressed confidence in OKA saying he will continue working with the outfit in a bid to enhance the unity of the nation.

“We will continue to forge solid partnerships with leaders who share our vision for a united and prosperous nation where our people have equal opportunity to thrive in their economic and social endeavours,” he said.

Kalonzo and Mudavadi also weighed in on the meeting and said OKA is fully united.

Kalonzo confirmed the meeting was about strengthening their coalition ahead of the 2022 polls.

“Concluded a daylong meeting with my colleagues in the One Kenya Alliance, Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, Sen. Gideon Moi & Sen. Moses Wetangula. We met a section of elected leaders from our respective parties & discussed ways of strengthening our union in readiness for the next election,” he said.

Mudavadi on his part endorsed OKA saying it is the future of Kenya.

“The future is here. One Kenya,” he said.

In attendance were leaders allied to the OKA principals and they included Tiaty MP William Kamket, Nairobi Senator Johnstone Sakaja, his Kitui counterpart Enock Wambua, Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior (Makueni) among others.
