Singer Nixon Omollo’s message of inspiration
American-based Kenyan reggae and dancehall artiste Nixon Omollo has urged his fans to never give up despite the challenges they face in life.
The singer, who has just released a new song titled Rise, says that with so many people across the world trying hard to overcome different pressures of life, they should just keep moving forward, no matter what.
“I live by the words of Martin Luther King Jnr that ‘If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do, just keep moving.’
And my message to my fans home and abroad is just that; keep moving,” he told Spice.
Nixon moved to the US in 2002, and kicked off his music career playing in bands across Michigan and Chicago and extensively as a one-man guitar.
