Uhuru campaigns for Raila as he opens 7 health facilities in Nairobi

President Uhuru Kenyatta has called on Nairobi residents to vote for Raila Odinga and Martha Karua.

Speaking in Ruai where he opened Mihang'o Hospital, and presided over the issuance of title deeds at Muhuri Muchiri Stadium, Uhuru said Raila and Karua are people of integrity.

"Raila and Karua are people of integrity. Others are fond of insulting me and I am not asking for any votes. They are telling me to finish and go, where am I going? I still have a lot of work to do.

"There are still hospitals to build. There are still roads to open and much more government work to do," he said.

He further called on the residents to vote for Azimio allied candidates, saying his handshake with Raila had brought peace to the country.

"Kenyans will decide. They will vote and go home to wait for results," he said.

Uhuru commissions hospitals

During Eastland's visit on Tuesday, July 12, Uhuru opened Mwiki Level Three Hospital in Kasarani Constituency.

The President also commissioned Mihang'o Hospital and presided over the issuance of title deeds at Muhuri Muchiri Stadium in Ruai.

Mwiki and Mihang'o hospitals are part of 28 new Level Two and Level Three health facilities constructed by the Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) across Nairobi as part of sustained efforts to attain Universal Health Coverage.
