Over 1,600 Kenyans engaged with Jimi Wanjigi on WhatsApp, to either ask questions or show their support for his candidature.

The Safina presidential aspirant on Friday launched a digital campaign to enable him to ‘get closer and speak to his supporters in their personal space.’

The move has been seen to rival the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya candidate Raila Odinga’s digital rallies.
Wanjigi is leveraging millions of Kenyans on Whatsapp, targeting especially the youth, making it the most attractive campaign platform in the world today.

When he launched the platform available here https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=254704401303&text=ChatWithJimiWanjigi (+254704401303.), he promised to engage his supporters everyday for one hour between 8PM and 9PM.

Wanjigi has slated Tuesday evening to answer all the questions he received in the first 72 hours of the launch of the campaign platform.

Wanjigi who is making his first entry into elective politics with a stab at the presidency has held, that his competitors are hell bent on reorganizing and regrouping tribal leaders in an attempt to pull voters, and with that, dismissing bothKenya Kwanza and Azimio la Umoja coalitions as selfish outfits designed to serve the interests of a few.

Wanjigi is confident that he will win the August polls but in the second round arguing that “we know the numbers and no one will win this election at round one, do not be deceived by anyone”
