Gor Mahia FC forward George Odhiambo is two goals away from breaking a new club record.

The attacker known as Blackberry has 48 goals for the club and will reach 50 if he scores two more goals. Last Saturday, the winger scored his 48th goal in the FKF Premier League, netting the second goal in their 2-1 win over Bidco United.

Set to join eight others

Blackberry has a chance to hit milestone in the upcoming league matches, and he will be eager to join eight great stars who have scored 50 or more goals.

The forward is currently on another stint with former league champions. During his first spell, he was a great player for Gor Mahia, earning the "Most Promising Player" award in the 2009 Kenyan Premier League awards. He was named Kenyan Premier League Player of the Year for the 2010 season.

He has played in Denmark for Randers FC in the Danish Superliga in 2011. At the start of the 2012 Tanzanian Premier League season, he joined Azam. He fell out of favor with the team, though, and was released from his contract in July.
