NAIROBI: Former Tusker coach Francis Baraza has parted ways with Tanzania’s top tier league side Kagera Sugar.

According to reports from Kagera Sugar, Baraza left the team on mutual agreement and has been replaced by assistant coach Marwa  Chacha who will be a caretaker trainer.

The Kagera based giants have become the latest side to part ways with Head Coach after Azam who lately sacked Frenchman Denis Lavagne at the helm of the club.

So far, at least seven Premier League clubs have terminated contracts with Head Coaches just in the tenth round of the campaign.

A statement from Kagera Sugar released on Sunday said Chacha will guide the team during their next premier league fixture against KMC at CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza today.

“The management would like to thank Baraza for his immense contributions at the club throughout his tenure.”
